Here at AUTOTECH we specialise in mobile vehicle servicing and repairs including Cambelts, Clutches, Diagnostics, Brakes, MOT Failures etc.
We will come to your home or place of work to service or repair your vehicle.
We are based in Hanworth, South West London and cover the whole of the TW and KT area's so please give us a call to see if your area is covered.
All work carried out is covered by a 1 year parts and labour warranty.
We operate from Monday-Friday 08.00 to18.00 and Saturdays 08.00 to 13.00

Diagnostic Check A diagnostic check is needed when the engine management light or any other warning lights(ABS, Airbag, ASR, and many more) stay illuminated whilst the vehicle is running. By carrying out a diagnostic check we can gain access to fault codes and certain sensor readings which all help towards trying to diagnose the fault. Any stored fault codes can then be deleted following remedial work which then turns the offending light off.
On our full services we carry out the following: A full brake check, Clean, Adjustment and advise if any problems. A full suspension and steering check over including springs, Shock absorbers, Ball joints, Wheel bearings, ETC. All tyres including spare are checked for correct pressures, Tread wear and overall condition. Wheels are also checked for damage. Wipers, washers(including aim), horn, and all lights are checked for correct operation. All hinges are lubricated.
The following items are changed: Oil and filter, Air filter, Fuel filter(petrol or diesel), Spark plugs (petrol engines), Pollen filter (where applicable). All levels are checked and topped up as needed including screen wash and antifreeze strength.
On older cars the cap and rotor are checked. Points are also checked. A visual check all over for corrosion, loose trim, etc. Engine is visually checked for leaks.
Cambelts generally need replacement at certain times or on milage depending on what comes first. These times are usually about every 4 to 6 years or 40,000 to 80,000 miles
depending on what make and model you have. These replacement times can usually be found in your service book or owners manual. Failure to replace cambelts at the specified time can be very costly if they snap. Cost of replacing a cambelt is 5% to 10 % the cost of having a cambelt snap.
When we replace cambelts we do so to manufactures recomendations and always replace all tensioners, Pullys, Idlers, Etc at the same time for extra peace of mind.
It is also advisable to change the water pump if it is run from the cambelt at the same time as water pumps also have a limited life span. Please ask for more infomation.
